Websites for Florida contractors

Websites for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, electricians and general contractors. Show your license number, your services and where you work. We build a free mockup first, so you can see it before you decide.

Your license number, on every page

Florida law says a contractor's registration or certification number has to appear "in each offer of services, business proposal, bid, contract, or advertisement, regardless of medium" (Florida Statutes 489.119(5)(b)). Florida's licensing agency, DBPR, says "advertise" includes internet sites, so that covers your website.

So we put your license number on every page of your site, usually in the footer, where it's easy to find. Electrical contractors are licensed under a different part of the same chapter, and the rules can differ by license type. This is general information, not legal advice. Check with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) about the rules for your license.

Websites for plumbers and HVAC companies in Tampa Bay

When a pipe bursts or the AC quits in August, people grab their phone and search. Your site should answer their first questions fast:

Show where you work, the right way

A long list of city names at the bottom of a page doesn't help customers, and Google's spam rules warn against it. Instead, we write one clear service-area section about the places you really work. A separate page for an area only makes sense when you have something real to say about it, like jobs you've done there.

Hurricane season updates

When a storm is coming, your customers want to know if you're open, closed or taking emergency calls. With a care plan, just email us and we'll help you post a notice at the top of your site. Read more about our website care plans.
